Content

The Inhalte (Content) page is the small CMS inside CampOne. It controls the text, photos, and event listings that guests see on your public booking widget and on the public website pages CampOne generates for you. Use this page when you want to add a new event to the events list, refresh the photo gallery for the new season, change the hero images at the top of the booking widget, or update the restaurant’s hours and tagline. Changes go live as soon as you save — there is no separate publish step and no preview.

In the sidebar, open Einstellungen (Settings) and click Inhalte (Content). The route is /content. The entry only appears if the cms feature is enabled for your tenant.

CampOne also has a second, related page called InhaltPage, on the route /inhalt. It is documented as a separate section at the bottom of this page — it is reached from the main Einstellungen (Settings) tab navigation rather than from the sidebar.

The page is organised as four tabs across the top:

  • Events (Events)
  • Galerie (Gallery)
  • Hero-Slides (Hero slides)
  • Restaurant

Pick a tab to load and edit that kind of content. Each tab fetches its own data when you open it, so the page stays fast even with hundreds of photos.

The Events tab is a simple list with a form at the top. Use it for the public events list — markets, concerts, kids’ programmes, and other dates you want guests to see.

Each event has these fields:

  • Datum (Date) — when the event happens.
  • Name — the title shown in the list.
  • Ort (Location) — where on or near the campsite it takes place.
  • Reihenfolge (Order) — a numeric sort key. Lower numbers appear first when two events share a date.
  • Veröffentlicht (Published) — a checkbox. Only published events appear on the public site.

Below the form is the table of existing events with Bearbeiten (Edit) and Löschen (Delete) buttons per row, and a bulk publish or unpublish action for the whole list.

The Gallery tab is the photo library shown on your public website. It has a drop-zone at the top for uploading new images, a season selector (summer, autumn, winter, aerial) so you can tag each photo, and a grid of the photos already uploaded. Each photo has a delete button. If the drag-and-drop reorder is enabled for your tenant, you can also drag photos into a new order, which is the order they appear on the public site.

Hero slides are the rotating large images at the top of your public booking widget and homepage. The tab lists the current slides, each with a caption or alt text field, and shows an upload button for new ones. You can drag slides into a new order, edit the caption, or delete a slide. A 16:9 aspect ratio is recommended, but it is not strictly enforced.

The Restaurant tab is only useful if your campsite has an on-site restaurant page on the public website. It is a forwarded form from the InhaltPage restaurant section — you fill in the restaurant’s tagline, the about text, the capacity note, the opening hours by day, and the contact details (main phone, reservations phone, email). Inside the Restaurant tab there are nested sections for General, Hours, and Contact. Save writes the change to the backend and the public restaurant page updates immediately.

  1. Open the Inhalte (Content) page and click the Events tab.
  2. In the form at the top, enter the date, the name, and the location.
  3. Set Reihenfolge (Order) — leave it at zero unless you have several events on one day and want a specific order.
  4. Tick Veröffentlicht (Published) so it appears on the public site.
  5. Click the create button. The new event appears in the list below.
Section titled “Refresh the photo gallery for the new season”
  1. Open the Galerie (Gallery) tab.
  2. Pick the season from the season selector — for example “summer”.
  3. Drag and drop the new photos onto the upload zone, or use the file picker.
  4. Wait for each upload’s progress bar to finish. Files that exceed the per-image size limit (2 MB by default) fail silently — keep an eye on the progress bar.
  5. If the new photos should replace the old ones, click the delete button on each old photo you want to remove.
  6. Optionally drag photos to set their order.

Change the hero slides on the booking widget

Section titled “Change the hero slides on the booking widget”
  1. Open the Hero-Slides (Hero slides) tab.
  2. To add a slide, click the upload button and pick a 16:9 image.
  3. Add a caption or alt text — this also helps with search-engine ranking and accessibility.
  4. Drag the new slide into the position you want.
  5. To remove an old slide, click its delete button. There is no soft-delete — the slide is gone immediately.
  1. Open the Restaurant tab.
  2. Click the Hours sub-section.
  3. Edit the Friday/Saturday hours, the kitchen close time, the Sunday hours, and the optional mon_thu_closed flag. Add an hours note for special cases (holidays, special evenings).
  4. Click Speichern (Save). The new hours appear on the public restaurant page right away.
  • There is no preview. Saving on any tab pushes the change live to the public site at once. If you need to draft something, leave Veröffentlicht off until you are ready, or work in a quiet hour.
  • Events default to unpublished. A new event you forget to tick as published will not appear on the public site no matter how perfect the rest of the form is.
  • File-size and aspect-ratio limits are soft. Gallery uploads larger than the configured limit (default 2 MB) fail silently — the photo simply does not appear. Hero slides not in 16:9 are accepted but display awkwardly.
  • Restaurant config is shared. The Restaurant tab on this page edits the same record as the Restaurant tab on /inhalt. Updating it in either place updates the public restaurant page.
  • Deletes are immediate. Deleting an event, a gallery photo, or a hero slide is final — there is no archive or restore.
  • Bulk publish/unpublish is per page. The bulk publish action on the Events tab applies only to the events currently shown — if you have a long list, scroll first or filter.

CampOne ships a second content-management screen at /inhalt, called Inhalt verwalten (Manage content) inside the app. It is reached from the Einstellungen (Settings) hub, not from the sidebar. It overlaps with the main Inhalte (Content) page in part — the Restaurant tab on /content is in fact a delegate to the Restaurant sub-form on /inhalt — but the two pages are not identical.

The /inhalt page has two tabs:

  • Restaurant — the same restaurant form described above (tagline, about text, capacity note, hours by day, mon-thu closed flag, hours note, main phone, reservations phone, email). Saving here writes to the backend and is shared with the Restaurant tab on /content.
  • Campingplatz — a longer form for the campsite’s own public page: hero headline and subline, about title and text, opening season, opening hours, check-in and check-out times, wifi info, and contact block (address, phone, email).

Two important differences from the main Content page:

  1. The Restaurant tab on /inhalt is server-persisted and synchronised with the booking widget and public site as you would expect.
  2. The Campingplatz tab is not synchronised to the backend. It saves to your browser’s local storage only, which means the values are visible in your browser but do not roll out to the public website. A banner at the top of the Campingplatz tab makes this clear, and the success message after saving reads Lokal gespeichert (Saved locally) rather than Gespeichert (Saved). If you switch browsers, computers, or clear browser data, the Campingplatz values are lost.

If you need campsite text that goes live on the public website, edit the corresponding fields in the Settings tabs that are server-persisted, not the Campingplatz tab on /inhalt.

  • Settings — branding, features, and the Platztypen, fees, and integrations hub. The Inhalte sub-tab inside Settings forwards to InhaltPage.
  • Sites — the inventory of pitches that guests see prices for on the public widget.
  • Activities — bookable activities, which appear on a separate public page from the Events list.
  • Sidebar tour — full walkthrough of every sidebar entry, including where Inhalte sits in the Einstellungen group.
